My journey as a Writer / Mi trayecto como escritora

Este será mi trayecto como escritora en el intento de convertirme en una profesional, porque después de todo siempre soy escritora, pero desconocida por muchos y conocida por unos cuantos amigos Este preciso blog será, tratará de manera general todo aspecto relacionado con el escribir. Será de hecho las especies de un escritor que te esta hablando si es que hay alguien escuchando. Intentaré demostrarte la clase de escritor que quiero ser y será una manera de no dejar de lado mi pluma y dejar por tanto mi huella en el mundo de los escritores.Una manera de mirar hacia adelante, hacia mi futuro y espero que lo halles interesante….Ya comence con mi trayecto de convertirme en escritora desde hace unos días, envié a mis amigos y familiares una de mis ideas para hacer de este trayecto una realidad la cual se basa en darles un tentempie de una historia y si se intrigan con ella, simplemente deben preguntar por el resto de la misma y pagar por ella y vía email recibirla de manera completa. Hasta el momento no parece estar funcionando del todo bien, pero puede haber una luz verde al final de este camino y además no quito el pie del renglón. La otra parte de mi plan la comencé hace unos cuantos segundos, busca la página Mexican Spice para saber de lo que trata, pero te aclaro que esta sección es totalmente en Inglés. Lo mejor de lo mejor y deseame suerte. Bien no quito mi dedo del renglón y sigo con mi idea firme de convertirme de una vez por todas en una escritora profesional a la cual le pagan por escribir. Mi gran plan como ya se habrán figurado se divide en dos partes, una es escribirle a Oprah una serie de articulos hasta que escuche una respuesta, esperando que sea la que deseo oír. De este trayecto te puedes enterar en la sección “Mexican Spice” aquí en mi blog. La segunda parte de mi plan consiste en ser una escritora de la calle de manera virtual. Te recuerdo lo que ello significa…….Todo se deriva en mis recuerdos cuando solía vivir en la Ciudad de México y me paseaba por la Colonia Rosa cerca del metro Insurgentes que me encontraba con colegas del arte de escribir que intentaban tener su punto de vista, su arte, sus escritos abiertos a la posibilidad. Intentando ganarse el pan de cada día a través de lo que les apasiona, les gusta que es el arte de escribir ya sea una mini novela, un cuento, una historia o bien, un conjunto de poemas como es que sucede en muchos de los casos. Y es así que yo pienso hacer lo mismo, pero de forma virtual.  Y es así que necesite considerar algunos aspectos como los siguientes: El libro más barato y bueno en cuanto contenido se refiere que te puedas encontrar en una “x” libreria o establecimiento donde vendan libros tal como lo es Sanborns esta alrededor de $150 yo no pretendo esto (aunque no niego que no me vendría nada mal) Los escritores de la calle, la mayoría de ellos venden sus trabajos alrededor de $100 o quizás $80 yo aspiro a unos $50 por historia corta y $60 por historia larga. ¿Interesados? Tengan en cuenta que esto me ayudará no sólo a convertirme en una escritora de paga sino a poder convertirme en una escritora publicada puesto que con los ingresos de esta página pretendo ahorrar para mandar mi novela a una EDITORIAL y asimismo me ayudarán a solventar los gastos de mi hijo SANTIAGO y así sacarlo de una vez por todas de ese mundo llamado ESPECTRO AUTISTA.

Exactamente en todo lo anterior recae la idea de Escritora de la calle de forma virtual, además de esta forma no mato árbolitos. Es algo que ya va siendo una moda en los Estados Unidos, lo único malo es que aunque México dice vivir en la tecnología; no sabe utilizarla. También da tristeza que la “LECTURA” no se da con constante en la vida de los mexicanos, pero en fin hay que tener FE.

En lo que respecta a mi plan de escribirle a Oprah ya llevo dos articulos. El segundo, según la opinión de mi Madre no parece ni suena como un articulo, pero eso ha dado pie a mi tercer articulo a enviar.

El trayecto de un escritor nunca termina, uno tiene que escribir y seguir escribiendo. Sin embargo existen horas en el día que se determinan para otras diferentes tareas y tienes que determinarte un tiempo como escritor, para escribir. No sé como vaya a ser el día que si tenga un trabajo como tal, pero mientras tanto comienza así. Por la mañana me levanto, hago mis ejercicios y lo que sigue a continuación después de un vaso grande con agua es leer mi email y muy posiblemente contestarlo, 10 minutos para escribir en mi blog (uno diferente) y 20 minutos para escribir. El trayecto de este escritor es no solamente dejarse llevar por sus ideas sino ir en busca de mi libro de ideas, ahí tengo escrito como debe o podría darse tal historia y es así que selecciono y comienzo a escribir sobre la línea. Hoy día tengo terminado un proyecto de mini novela que simplemente te daré el título: Yo y El Departamento de los Artistas. Asimismo ya termine otro proyecto en inglés que puede convertirse en otra mini novela, pero la estoy dejando reposar. En este momento, a partir del lunes comenzaré con dos nuevos proyectos y es así como se delinea el trayecto de Montsserrat como escritora al menos hasta el momento.

17 Junio: Mi llamado de ayuda fue contestado. ¿Qué tiene que ver esto con mi trayecto de escritora? Pues porque sé que aunque haya informado de mi necesidad no lo harían si realmente no gustara de mi lectura, entonces por fin soy escritora de paga, “Mujer Asesina” ya puesta en el mercado.

17 Enero 2011: Es curioso como la vida da vueltas, el toquido a la puerta del pasado hace que la inspiración renazca, surja y se empiece a crear una nueva historia. Tocó a mi puerta un chico que conocí en la Secundaria (en aquél tiempo aunque éramos colegas que nos llevábamos bien, éramos colegas después de todo) sin embargo en esta ocasión este chico, que ya es un hombre llega envuelto en misterio, el misterio se resuelve, pero se inicia así de rápido a través de mensajes celulares un coqueteo, uno tal que con el tiempo se vuelve el punto crucial de una historia. Las ideas están ahí, merodiando, el problema es cacharlas.

 

This would be my journey on my way to become a professional writer, because after all I am one, but unknown by so many and only known by some friends and family.

This site would also talk about stuff in general, all related in a way with writing. It would be in fact the spices of this writer that is talking to you if anyone at all is listening out there. LOL

I would try to be into this site the kind of writer that I want to be, besides it would be my way for not let my pencil down, for me to leave my foot print into this BIG WORLD of WRITERS. This is also my way to look ahead into my future with my own section in one of my favorites magazines. Well that’s the plan, I would have to wait and see how it turns out the plan, the project in fact. Inspire by Ellen Degeneres first and next by the movie named Julie&Julia.

Hope you find intersting my writing and my journey….. I’m starting the journey, I have a few days with it. I send out into the open through this blog to my friends and family my idea of how to become a professional writer once and for all, to sell my writing through here, by giving them a glimpse of a story and if they want to know the rest of it, they just need to ask for it and pay and then by email I send to them the whole story. Until now hasn’t work that much, but maybe there’s a green light at the end of this tunel. The other part of my plan I started it just now, a few seconds ago, look for the page name Mexican Spice to know all about it. Best of best and wish me luck.

Well, well being an unprofessional writer is really hard these days, I can just imagine what is like to be a professional writer with the economic and all. But if you are a writer that doesn’t matter; writing just needs to exist. The good thing is I haven’t stopped writing or following part of my plan to become once and for all a professional writer, but it is hard. I still have ideas of how to face  a white page, ideas for new stories to write and now and then while writing or walking a thought comes to mind and I say: “this may go here really well” meaning that maybe what I’m working on at the time can become an adition to another kind of project.

Writers need to write, I need to write, I can’t stop and even though my page call “challenge me” hasn’t worked that well or at all. I have been doing the challenge. Here I am in my homepage on WireClub, nobody of my list of friend is online, but WireClub is telling me by pictures that some members are online. I click on those that their photos caught my eye, so here it is this guy, his profile photo is he wearing a hat; so I send a message to him and here it is how the conversation went: (starting me first)

 She: Cute Hat, look good

He: Thanks, I like it.

She: Good that you do. BTW Why did you reply?

He:Mostly I was just curious. It was such an odd question/thing. As to where I wanted it to go, no idea. Not really into Cyber if that is what you were looking for. It was interesting though.

She: Sorry for the delay I was writing on my blog. You look pretty cool, the hat fits you really well. I’m not into the cyber thing either.

He: Glad to hear it. So what you get up to for fun?

She: A lot of things I do for fun when there is the time. Things like this I do for fun…….Sometimes research for my writing. By the way I was wondering what would you say if we were face to face, you are wearing the hat & I tell you: “Can I take the hat for a ride?”I know curiosity kill the cat but I really would like to know, LOL

He: I would probably ask you what you mean by “Can I take the hat for a ride?”

She:Well I guess that would be my way to break the ice and when you ask that I would just smile and let you guess the answer.What do you say to that? Thanks for replying, best of best, kisses

He: I guess my reply would be. “As long as you cover the bus fair.”

She: That’s not fair I’m a lady here; but because you look so cute maybe I will make an exception. You know there’s a great place on the other side of town, care to join me and before you say anything I take the hat from you and put it on. So, now I’m really curious what would you say to this……..Really thanks a lot for replying, I must say you keep my imagination on a high level…..LOVE THAT

He: I suppose, “I suppose I must come along, after all I had better keep you and my hat out of trouble.”

She: You are great at this, but at the moment I have nothing to continue, but tell me just for curiosity: Why you kept replying? (I’m glad, but wonder)Where would you like the next scene to be on? (That is if you still want to continue with this? No matter your answer, thanks for the last replys

He: I guess I kept replying because I was curious how this will follow or will continue, about that scene, I really don’t know. This was in fact your idea. 

She: Still no idea here about the next step, but I like that you are in the tune of curious. You know we can put this into writing, what do you say you say?

He: Sure go write ahead, also a writer here and those sort of things do keep the mind sharp. So feel free, I would like that.

Well that’s the way it went, you see a new story to write about is always around the corner if you wish it to be. I guess that’s one of my recent technics to start writing a story on a white page.

March 28: I have this crazy idea to advertise myself for free. I was writing a story about two people that have a conversation by notes hidden inside a book and I thought maybe I could do the same, not exactly, but the same, maybe this idea could work. I thought I should pick a story that I care for, but I wont miss. Then select just a glimpse of it and have it printed on paper, made copies of it like 22 and leave them behind in some intersting places or strange places, just to leave it with the hope that someone would find the note and read it, become my reader. I know it is a crazy idea, but I have to try. None of my ideas had worked so far, but faith should die until the last drop of air right?

I’m thinking of doing it next week, on a Sunday, by myself. I already have the story, I just need to select the glimpse. I also have in mind some places like a book, like a magazine, like a DVD, like in the bathroom of a restaurant, like on a table, at the movies, and so many others that are coming to mind at this precise moment. No matter the result I will have an adventure. 

June 17th: Guess what, I asked for help and I got. What does this has to do with my journey as a writer? Because even though I tried again by reminding my friends that I needed help for this weekend, they know me and they know even though there’s the need I’m just asking for a payment only if you are intersted in continue reading, I know they know that. “I’m not a charity case”, so in this journey of mine I can say that I already sold my first writing. “Mujer Asesina” already in the market. Lets go for more.

January 6th: In this journey of writing I find myself going into the english language direction, but I still like writing in spanish my own language. The journey is not easy when you want something from it whatever it is, but when you do it because of passion and love; the journey of a writer it is fact a peace of cake. But WHERE DO WE START AS WRITERS? Well I guess that at the moment that we start writing, specially when we do it for no good reason.

Being in front of a white page is always scary, but so far ideas come and go. Sometimes they don’t stay on paper, they should be erased, other times they are no gramatically correct, but who really cares, there is enough time out there to get it right.
